The contractor must demonstrate appropriate technical competence, experience and resources to deliver a fully integrated renewable energy installation within the required programme. The completed system must include suitable monitoring, metering and energy optimisation capabilities, together with operating manuals, maintenance information, warranties, certification and staff training.
MTIB intends to appoint a single Principal Contractor with overall responsibility for managing and coordinating all elements of the works.
The project is subject to a strict funding deadline. All installation works, testing, commissioning, outstanding defects and snagging, compliance documentation, formal handover, MTIB sign off and final invoicing must be completed by 31 March 2027.
The maximum available project budget is GBP 388840 excluding VAT. Contract award will be subject to final confirmation of funding and completion of the necessary procurement approvals.
