The National Mining Museum Scotland (NMMS) seeks an energy consultant to deliver a feasibility study (Concept Design) for the development of a PV canopy array, battery storage, and associated infrastructure, including EV charging, at its A-listed Lady Victoria Colliery site in Newtongrange. The study will confirm feasibility and optimal system sizing, develop concept layouts, provide energy and financial modelling, assess grid and planning requirements, and propose an EV charging plan integrated with renewable generation. Deliverables include a feasibility report, concept designs, financial assessment, and an implementation roadmap. The contract is a fixed-term services contract for 3 months (November 2025 – January 2026) with a maximum budget of 19,800 GBP (exclusive of VAT).
