Evidence
Walsall Council has awarded a £1,500,000 contract to install EV charging across its car parks to Amey Highways Ltd, as a call-off from a framework, with a term running to 2041. The full analysis traces the award, value and term to the notice, reads what a works call-off to a highways contractor means for the charge-point hardware and operator layer, and sets Amey's win against its wider presence on council charging frameworks. This one is awarded, so it is a market signal to read rather than a live bid.
