Vicus Way Multi-Storey Car Park

A single stage D and B contractor is being sought by Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) through a restricted OJEU procurement process to undertake design and construction of the new multi-storey car park at Vicus Way (corner of Stafferton Way), Maidenhead, Berkshire. A single stage D and B contractor is being sought by Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) through a restricted OJEU procurement process to undertake design and construction of the new multi-storey car park at Vicus Way (corner of Stafferton Way), Maidenhead, Berkshire. The proposed development will include: — 4 upper floors in split deck arrangement and ground level surface parking, — 503 total number of spaces, — 1 lift core, 2 stair cores, — pay and display ticket machines, — statutory signage, — CCTV, — park mark requirements, — electric charging points. The project will be out for tender late August 2019 with the selection of a preferred bidder in January 2020 for a May 2020 commencement on site. The D and B contractor will be required to develop the design, in consultation with the relevant stakeholders and construct the car park, including relevant external works by June 2021. The tender process will be based on a single stage fixed price tender on a JCT 2016 design and build contract with specific amendments.
