Norfolk County Council traffic signals maintenance & upgrade, £13m services contract
Opportunity snapshot
Estimated value
£13m
Evidence
Norfolk County Council's £13M framework for traffic signals maintenance and electrical services, with explicit interest in adding EV charging infrastructure as an optional scope expansion. The tender covers existing traffic signal networks but signals the council's intent to integrate EV charging into their electrical infrastructure contracts.
This represents Norfolk's strategic approach to bundling EV charging with existing electrical infrastructure contracts, potentially creating a streamlined procurement route for on-street charging. The council explicitly states they 'would like to talk to providers about including in this contract... the supply and installation of electric vehicle charging points and other electrical services', indicating EV charging could become a significant component of future call-offs.
