The project comprises 2 specific phases: Phase 1 – Supply, Install and Commissioning of Electric Charging Points Phase 2 – Planned and reactive maintenance of Electric Charging Points The successful tenderer will be awarded a contract in respect of each phase. Phase 1 will involve the supply and carrying out of all civil works (Groundworks, cabling and reinstatement of footways and carriageways), installation of Electric Vehicle charging points including protective barriers, bay markings, signage and electrical functional testing of electric vehicle charging equipment and shall thereafter also include the commissioning of the chargers at Glenburn Community Centre, Falcon Day Centre and Kirklandneuk Community Centre. The Phase 1 Conditions of Contract will be the NEC3 Engineering & Construction Short Contract April 2013 with Z Clauses. Phase 2 will involve maintenance of Electric Vehicle charging points at Glenburn Community Centre, Falcon Day Centre and Kirklandneuk Community Centre by providing annual preventative maintenance including mechanical and electrical safety checks, active monitoring of EV charging points and replacement of damaged EV charger equipment (excluding any damage that could not be attributed to normal use), as well as any reactive maintenance. The Phase 2 Conditions of Contract will be in the form of NEC3 Term Service Short Contract April 2013 with Z Clauses. Tenderers should note that Phase 2 is a Term Service Contract with no guarantee of spend under Part 2 Services. Phase 2 contract shall commence when practical completion has been achieved under the Phase 1 contract (anticipated to be 2 months from the contracts start date) and run for a period of 5 years.
