Scotland Excel has opened the tender to renew the framework for heavy and municipal vehicles: £100m across 13 lots, for all 32 Scottish councils and a long list of other public bodies, bids now due by 12:00 on 23 October 2026 after a one-week extension. Electric is one option inside a general vehicle framework, not a lot of its own.
