Description
Manchester Airport Group (MAG) are looking to procure an end-to-end solution for the installation of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure (EVCI) across its landside estate for all three MAG airports, Manchester, East Midlands and Stansted. This early engagement has been produced to present MAGs requirements for EVCI and in turn gauge the market's interest, supplier requirements and commercial offerings/business models. A high-level scope has been identified at present. Three key demand groups have been identified across the landside estate which have been deemed a high priority for EVCI rollout. These are:
• Airport passengers and visitors
• Car hire
• Taxi / private hire
The approach for EVCI provision for each of the demand groups has been steered towards:
• Food and Beverage (F&B) with an EV Forecourt hub model: Airport passengers and visitors;
• EVCI provision dedicated for the specific demand group: Car hire, and taxi / private hire.
The Invitation
This early engagement is a formal invitation to a MAG delivered presentation on Tuesday 12th December at 10:30. The hour and a half long presentation will highlight further details and high-level figures for each of the three MAG airports, such as, potential locations for EVCI installation, average parking occupancy and approximate utilisation.
The presentation will be held on Microsoft Teams
The Presentation
The presentation will cover MAG's assessment of the landside estate, potential sites for EVCI installation, known constraints and potential risks. Information will be provided on the high-level scope in terms of the targeted demand group. This will include; mode share in reference to taxis for each of the three airports, vehicle count arriving to the airports, allocation for car hire spaces and average car park occupancy.
Early Engagement
Following the presentation, one-to-one 30min slots will be available for any supplier that would like to go over clarifications/ key questions with MAG. The one-to-one sessions will take place on Wednesday 13th December, whereby slots will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Sessions will start at 09:30AM till 17:00PM, with time in-between for breaks.

The aforementioned information will only be distributed to the suppliers that were in attendance of the presentation on the 12th December. This will be distributed shortly after the 14th December, once all one-to-one sessions have been concluded.
It should be noted, the one-to-one slots will only be available to suppliers that were in attendance of the presentation on the 12th December.
