Low Carbon Barrow - Summative Assessment

Barrow Borough Council are looking to contract with a supplier to deliver a Summative Assessment and Evaluation of the Low Carbon Barrow Project currently in effect. Barrow Borough Council is the accountable body for Low Carbon Barrow. This is a programme of activities aimed at reducing Carbon Dioxide emissions in the Barrow in Furness geography. It is funded through the European Regional Development Fund, Cumbria LEP, Barrow Borough Council and ArtGene (a Local Charity) Activities are under 6 different themes a. Zero Carbon Piel Island b. Electric Vehicles and Charge Points c. Public Buildings d. Public Housing e. Grants (primarily to enterprises) f. BugOut - a demonstration vehicle for sustainable activities A seventh workstream is overall programme management
