Evidence
Charger specification data exists for this tender but the relevance classifier did not detect charger-shaped evidence — the spec block is suppressed by default. Visible to admins below.
Somerset Council has awarded a highways framework agreement to deliver various infrastructure improvements including electric vehicle charging infrastructure. This is a broad highways framework covering safety improvements, active travel, and EV infrastructure amongst other works.
This framework specifically includes 'Electric Vehicle Infrastructure' as a named work category, positioning it as a potential route to market for EV charging suppliers. The framework structure suggests ongoing opportunities for EV infrastructure call-offs over the contract period, making it strategically relevant for suppliers seeking public sector EV work in Somerset.
