As of February 2024, 1897 vehicles are owned and leased across MoJ, HMPPS and NPS and would access this requirement. A fuel card payment solution must: Offer a convenient geographical coverage. Simple and secure method of payment for the purchase of fuel and associated services. Allow for control and monitoring of fuel purchases via the service provider’s online monitoring system. Achieve savings on fuel purchases, including electric vehicle requirements by paying a discounted price as opposed to the advertised pump price. Offer coverages for electric vehicle charging. Fuel Cards should not be enabled to allow End Users to purchase non-vehicle related items at forecourts, such as newspapers, refreshments etc. Fuel cards must enable the End User to purchase: Fuels Associated services Diesel Oil Unleaded Carwash Premium Diesel Adblue Premium unleaded Jetwash Super unleaded Tolls Electric vehicle charging points Breakdown services
