Fusion21 has now launched their tender opportunity for our brand new energy efficiency framework. NIHE plan to conduct a further competition via this framework in January 2020. In order to be eligible for this opportunity you must be a supplier under the Northern Ireland Lot of the Fusion 21 energy efficiency framework. Suppliers who are not listed under this lot will not be invited to submit an expression of interest to participate. The invitation to tender for the new framework is now available on the myTenders web portal (www.mytenders.co.uk) under Notice ID — OCT158433. The closing date for submissions is 27.11.2019 at 12.00 noon. The aim if the framework is to support our members to achieve energy efficiency outcomes; including reduced carbon emissions and increased cost savings. The total framework value is 250 000 000 GBP and, for information, we have a proposed pipeline of works to be called-off once the framework is live delivering EWI and associated works for a Northern Ireland Member totalling 40 000 000 GBP over 3 years (this will likely be broken in to sub-lots) and we are encouraging suppliers to bid for the Northern Ireland region where they have the desire and capability to deliver these works. The lot structure is provided as follows: 1) External wall insulation and associated works; 2) Cavity wall, loft and internal insulation, 3) Cladding and associated works; 4) Domestic solar PV and battery storage; 5) Non-domestic solar PV and battery storage; 6) Electric vehicle charging points; 7) LED lighting. The lots are broken down geographically to allow suppliers to bid only for the regions where they operate and have the capability to deliver. If you meet the requirements that have been set for this framework and as set out in the procurement documents we would welcome your bid.
